A Morning Swim at Greenwood Furnace

I've been taking some Thursdays off to use up vacation time that I would otherwise lose. And so it was that on this morning, my husband and I set out for Greenwood Furnace for a morning swim.

This is a picture of the swimming area, looking toward the spillway. The water is cool and refreshing, and I just can't wait to get in. I mind the heat on the hottest days of summer, but a cold-water swim makes it all worthwhile. Ah, cool, clear water. . . .
