Willow Bridge

Willow Bridge is an old packhorse bridge that crosses the River Don. Its origins go back to mediaeval times and is on the ancient route from the salt mines in Cheshire to the towns and cities South, East, North and West Yorkshire. The extra image is a detail of the reflection in the river below the bridge.
A socially distanced coffee this morning with Adrian and Allison which we braved despite a heavy rain shower, winds and clouds.
