I blipped an image of this a few weeks ago when Karin and I were on a bike ride. We were this again today and I thought I'd try to get a few more pictures of these sculptures. Here are a couple of my favourites and one of Karin that gives a good view of the location.
This is the Don Valley. The Don River flows through here and now also the Don Valley Parkway (a perpetually congested highway euphemistically call the Don Valley Parking Lot). Historically, this valley was a beautiful natural oasis, the river a source of food, the surrounding land fertile and lush. The 19C saw much of it "tamed" and turned into "useful" land but slowly people have been working to restore much of it to a semblance of its former glory.
