Punchbowl Walk

Day 131 of COVID-19 UK lockdown (opening up)

We are having wardrobes delivered on Tuesday and I need to remove some skirting to get one to fit, so borrowed a specialist tool from my brother who lives in Govilon, near Abergavenny. To kill two birds, they took us on a 4 mile walk near their home to The Punchbowl pool which is part of Blaenavon's 19th century industrial heritage, now a World Heritage Site.

The extra shows the Punchbowl pool, whilst the main is a view from the footpath to it of Abergavenny. It shows Nevill Hall Hospital at the bottom of the frame and The Skirrid mountain (top right) and Sugar Loaf mountain to the left.

A lovely sunny day, we enjoyed a cuppa on his patio before the thirty minute drive home.
