Splash of Pink Blossom

John had appointment at Ferrymead this afternoon so I went with him for the drive. We were early so took a short along the Avon/Heathcote Estuary. Pity the tide was out.

On the hill line you can see a sharp looking peak.. that is Castle Rock. I grow up in Horotane Valley just below Castle Rock to the right.

It was to have been a warm day but the it sure didn't get very warm with a cold wind blowing and not much sun at all.
