Queen Mary Hospital - Roehampton

Our local hospital (which is a cut through to get to the nearest bus stop) was completely rebuilt a few years back. Of course they stuck a funny 7' tall sculpture in the middle of the car park as they were so flush with funds.

The sculpture is made of the letters QMH stacked up with the 'Queen's Rook' on the top (shown here) to hark back to the 14th century when the town was known as 'Rokehampton', home farm where the rooks gather, and rooks continue to rest in Roehampton to this day ... they certainly do, although they cut a few of the tress down that they liked to expand the car park.
