Lobmill Viaduct

Late afternoon walk around the Springside & Lobmill area of Todmorden.
This is a Grade II listed railway viaduct built in1840 by George Stephenson.
At this point in the Calder Valley you have the main railway line (Leeds - Manchester), the A646 main road Halifax to Burnley, the River Calder and the Rochdale Canal - all within 200 yards of each other.
I'm taking this Blip leaning against the wall of the river - you can gauge just how everything is squeezed in.
