AOG Day 10

“It’s great to have you all here at AOG 2020, on this tenth day of competition. Coming up is the Precision Landing Final with six qualifying teams. This Venue is unique as it was specially grown and nurtured right here, onsite, by an International Team of Horticulturists. Thistle Mountain reaches 183 centimeters and is strong and sturdy. The Teams have been busy all morning warming up. Some of the athletes expressed concern with the blustery conditions today, especially at the peak. Currently the mountain is measuring 10 mph winds with gusts up to 25 at Scot’s Peak. We’ll be watching closely how effective they are in maneuvering and adjusting their hover crafts and landing gear. Too much or too little may result in skids, crashes or rollovers. It’s happened before, but Team Ladybugs are on standby to treat any injuries that occur, plus Triage Tents are set up at the base. A number of Drones will also be circling overhead to monitor both the athlete and the weather conditions. The teams who are the fastest and most accurate in landing their hover craft on the target will be our medal winners today. Following the medal presentation, free nectar will be available for our competitors and any spectators who were cleared to attend AOG today. Masks are required, of course, but enough about celebrating, first we must compete!”
