Skipper On A Glitter Pear

This is a four-in-one tree that has several varieties of Asian pear grafted on the same trunk. I think the point usually is to have them ripen at different times, but they all seem to be at the same stage, which is almost ready. The glitter effect is just the beautiful mottled skin of this variety. And the gracious skipper? I thanked him and he went on his merry way.
