Sgwarnog: In the Field

Pearl

I was back in working at home mode today, which meant I could include a modest walk down to the woods in my day.

This moth was a new one for me, Evergestis pallidata, or Chequered Pearl. These are fairly thin on the ground in Yorkshire, so it was a nice find. And my first Antler moth of the year (extra).

I'm hoping that the heatwave has brought some Painted Lady butterflies across from the continent but still no sign for me yet this year.
