Giving a fig

An incredibly humid day even though not as hot as last week; we had 70% humidity this morning when we went for a walk so it was quite tiring.  A thunderstorm this afternoon has cleared the air a little but we are still at 64%.

My fig bush seems to have many more figs on it than ever before; sadly though, they are quite dry and seedy so not good enough to eat.  I took a couple of cuttings earlier this year and one of them is itself producing its first fig, albeit a slightly mis-shapen one, which I’ve added as an extra.
