Sloe Bug

Taking over a linseed flower this sloe bug seemed fairly relaxed having not only a camera poised vertically over its head but the dogs breathing down its neck too.

Not just found on sloe bushes it feeds on flowers and fruits of many plants and is fairly widespread found in hedgerows and wood margins usually.

Distant thunder is rolling towards us and the dogs are getting edgy.
