Mono Monday: Key/Quay

Today’s Mono Monday homophone chosen by Chantler63 is key or quay; strictly speaking, this is neither, but it is a keyring, and one I’ve had for about 20 years.  To be honest, I’m not sure how I got it; it is a shoe, to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Charles Clinkard chain of shoe shops.  Although now a national chain, it was founded in my home town in the north east of England and I remember meeting the formidable Mrs Clinkard once, nearly 50 years ago.
