Bullfinch

We made the most of the late afternoon sunshine watching the birds flitting in and out of the trees, including a number of bullfinches. But they never seem to stop long enough to snap. Nor did I have my zoom lens. I did spot one sat on the end of a monkey puzzle branch, but true to form, the minute I lined him up and adjusted the focus and shutter speed, he dived off. So that is what this is... a silhouette of a bullfinch diving off the end of a monkey puzzle branch.
