Paused Shielding - Day 24

Carpentry still life!

In the last spell of stormy weather, the pole that ties a long fence into the house, providing extra support, snapped in half. So with Storm Francis arriving overnight with reports of damaging winds, it was time to replace it. With the help of my “vintage” tool collection, I made a replacement pole out of the top half of my Christmas Tree trunk. I’m quite proud of myself! :)

Not much sunshine about today, but still a muggy afternoon of 21 degrees. Time to batten down the hatches and check my invention is in place. Maybe I should hang a few baubles on it! :))

Take care, stay safe and well...
