Major technical issue discovered on the workhorse bicycle this morning - rear wheel rim cracking/bending outward around the full circumference on one side, means it's unsafe to use for the foreseeable future. Had to make a quick change of attire, before taking the big blue beast to work - something that I'd rather not do.

A late night working on the (very) long stalled/someday refurbishment of an ancient mountain bike, which will hopefully get me to work tomorrow. Perhaps a necessary boot up the bahooky, to get that done, and also work on the damaged old tourer, that served me so well for so long. Heavy weight aside, the hybrids are better for shifting a heavy load of shopping about, and handling the awful stretches of road surface, but the tourer is so very much more pleasant to ride any distance.
