Salvia 'Dad's Brown Trousers'

First noted by Tom Hart Dyke as a fluke seedling in 2011, thriving in the Mexican section of Lullingstone's World Garden.

This variety is set apart by its strongly branching habit that spreads nicely without becoming straggly. The fresh green foliage has a delicious oily fragrance when crushed. Charming large flowers with peachy pink tones take on an almost light brown hue in full bloom.

Named after the late Guy Hart Dyke who was usually to be found in his signature light brown trousers.

This plant was a 'leaving' gift to me from Tom when I visited yesterday.
