In lieu of a wasp.

I was out doing a "wander and click" when I spotted a wasp at a watering-hole on an Aponogeton leaf.  DAMN!  "Wrong lens, wait there." - It did. :¬( )
What it didn't do was continue to sit still; leaping sprightly from leaf to flower to leaf etc.
I changed my target to an Aponogeton flower. It wasn't until I got it onto the computer I noticed its Crew of what looked like Drosophila (Aside - is the plural Drosophilae?) It might have been ideal for focus stacking - BUT - not an easy concept when you're kneeling at the pond edge, camera hand-held.
