The fledgling

Both young osprey have their feathers and fly around the nest to a pine across the creek. In the extra this young bird is eating a fish with a parent looking on. It felt like she was giving me the stink eye! They start their flight south in early September. One female osprey was tracked flying well over 3,000 miles. I'm sure going to miss them when they fly away that last time.
