Choosing paint

More shopping around for bits and pieces for Carl's house. This time the mountain came to Mohammad, as in he came over to the Northside. We began with light fittings, and spent an hour or so perusing a huge catalogue and trying to match its content with what was on display. In the end, Carl came away with a pendant fitting which might be suitable for a spot in the kitchen. After a pit stop in my place for coffee, more catalogue-browsing and a bit of internet checking a short list was arrived at which Carl went on later to order online. So, success.

From my place we continued to a wonderful paint shop in Swords (wonderful not only for the huge range but for the availability of A4 samples which are so much more help that the tiny blobs in the usual colour sample handouts). As usual, the more options there are, the more difficult it is to narrow things down.
