Patience?

Very busy day. Started out fitting the window film in this ‘Whitby’ design that I love. I’d wanted something in this design, whether wallpaper or cushions or whatever, but couldn’t work out where in the flat it would be right so had given up on it rather, until G told me last week that you could buy a film to stick on a window so I ordered some to put on the long window high up in the bathroom. My goodness it tested my accuracy, design and planning skills. Took about two hours and very tricky and frustrating to match the pattern  (I had to use two sections as the window was wider than the roll width) but I just persevered, up and down the stepladder and with my head bashing the shower head etc, and tried to get it as correct  as possible. Not like me to be that patient! It’s a somewhat boring blip but I needed to record the achievement!
Nice break to have a delicious lunch with VickyG in a pub past South Queensferry...very empty so we were in no danger of passing her Glasgow germs to anyone!
Chatted non stop for a couple of hours and had a good catch up comparing notes on preparedness for the new semester, family, holidays, socialising and the blooming virus of course.
Home and started on a massive proper clean of the flat rather than the usual surface swipe!
Worked pretty hard till mid evening then watched a Meryl Streep film and knitted, waiting up til M and Ad arrived ready for Ad moving into uni halls tomorrow. Exciting times!
