CHOC LIKE AN EGYPTIAN

It's amazing the things you find up a dead end street.

This hieroglyphic mural is on the front of the old Duncan's chocolate factory in Edinburgh.

My mum worked the night shift there in the late 60s, by that time it had been taken over by Rowntrees. They used to make Pink Panther chocolate there when I was at Ainslie Park and its cloying smell wafted over Warriston as we attempted to escape the school psycho.
