Embellishment

A different aspect of a familiar bay, this time from the kirkyard instead of looking towards it. I loved the froth of lichen on this headstone and closer inspection revealed lovely embellishments along the top. This is such a serene place, even on a blustery day.

I had a lovely 9 holes of golf with a friend this morning. Good to test out the new tee positions - and to discover that my driver is perfect for hitting the ball in a particular ditch from the new 1st tee.

Another couple of hours in the garden. The little patch by the living room is now sorted, as is the rockery near the parking area. A good bit of hacking back the smothering grass around our tree plantings too - nice to rediscover them :-)
