Burger and Chateauneuf-du-Pape

Today was consumed by errands, one of which was to pick up our auction wines 55 miles away in north Hollywood and to drop all but one off at our wine locker. We picked up burgers for dinner, and celebrated our augmented collection by cracking open one of our new bottles (after the burgers were finished). The Domaine de la Janasse Vieilles Vignes Châteauneuf-du-Pape 1998 is outstanding. I look forward to enjoying more of this one, and the others we got in the years to come.
