Above the Marsh

After a nice lie in this morning we did what we had planned to do. A trip to Gibraltar point to see what we could get photos of. I had hoped that the spoonbill would be around but they was out in the wash area. A few bits and bobs around and I did get a shot of a couple of snipe and also a poor record shot of a curlew Sandpiper which is not a common sight . While we was watching out of one of the hides all the birds flew up. I looked up to the sky to see this lovely Marsh Harrier. Not the sharpest shots as it was flying around . Having re-looked at the shot not sure if this is not actually a Common Buzzard looking at some of the markings but they way it flew made me think is was a Harrier .
We spent about 2 hours there before leaving and going into Skegness to enjoy some lovely fish and chips and then a stroll along the beach. Both places very busy with people making the most of the lovely weather .
Back home now to put my feet up and watch some Netflix viewing and keeping up with Lincolns score in the carabo League cup. At the moment they are 4 - 0  up which will give them a game against Liverpool in the 3rd round just a pity that fans wont be able to fill Sincil Bank ( LNER Stadium )and cheer them on .
