Life in Sunny Dubai

Update

(17/9/20)

After two very short nights (8 hours sleep in all), the tiredness finally caught up with me last night and I found myself in bed before midnight - unheard of for me! Blipping had to take a back seat!

The day started well and was pretty non-stop. I dropped G to work, which is when she got this shot of the Museum of the Future - for a very fast-moving car! The outside cladding is nearly complete and we don't want to miss the last bits. It's not the best angle as there is a streetlight in the middle but it does show a few of Dubai's iconic buildings, like the Emirates Towers, Burj Khalifa and the relatively new Gevora Hotel.

Back to the day, G's A/c stopped working the night before. I managed to get our A/c technicians to come first thing this morning, so I had to race back. The problem wasn't as complex as the repair my unit required a couple of weeks ago and only required changing two parts, both of which they had to hand. Perfect!

As it's Wednesday, Nara was in the flat too, and he very kindly cleared up after them (G's balcony had to be washed down again!)

I then collected G and the rest of the day was spent at home. I managed to get two videos done. That's GOOD! :))
