A sketch....

Trying a different approach with the pastels. The last painting i set up - and now abandoned....i followed the 'ideas' i've been reading and trying out...it just got too stiff looking! So, today i tried just doing a bit of sketch....without the under painting technique i've been employing! i'm happier with this one....still not there...but i'll leave it for now! this is down at Little River Beach, one of our favorite walking spots!

Also i was directed to this site which has free online courses in a huge variety of subjects....math, chemistry, history, computers etc etc....and there is a section on Art History. So i've been delving into some history...fascinating stuff!

the sun keeps popping out for a moment here and there....a welcomed sight!
