Pressed Poppies

I have been meaning to do this for sometime. Putting these items on the lightbox makes it a relatively straightforward shot with just a touch of top lighting.

Today I took part in a Documentary Photography workshop through the RPS. I'm not sure the style is for me but it was very interesting and there are techniques I can carry forward to other projects. In the Visual Arts digital competition I had one image accepted from my six, out of almost 2000 submitted overall. So quite pleased really.

Off for dinner this evening at our son's flat. I hope he has cooked one of his curries.
