An ordinary life....

Busy bees...

First the good news...

My friend Carole asked me to create three bee paintings for her niece's baby who is due next month.  Finally got them finished today and I am delighted to say she loves them.  Phew.

Lola arrived home from her little holiday with R.  She is full of they joys and the house feels right again :-))

Alan and Andrew had another fab session in the pool.  More loud music, splashing and laughter. They were exhausted when the got out.  David is now on his way to Dundee with Andrew and Andrew's mum will travel down from further north to meet them there.  We have dates in the diary for a return two night visit in October.

And now for the bad news...

New Covid-19 restrictions north of the border mean we are not allowed to have any visitors to the house and we are not allowed to visit anyone in their home.  There are some exceptions to this rule e.g. if you live alone or if you are a grandparent providing childcare, but they don't apply to us.  So we can meet up with friends from another household in a pub, but not at home.

Will be reviewed in three weeks.

Poor Andrew is all worried it will affect his next visit.  It probably will but we are being positive.  Or at least trying to be.

Back to the depressing task of deleting visits to, and from family and friends, from the diary.
