Crag Lough and Hadrians Wall

This is a geological fault called the Whin Sill Ridge which runs along the top of England through Cumbria and Northumberland. The wall you can see on the top is actually Hadrians (or the Roman) Wall, built in AD 122 to protect the extremities of the Roman Empire!
