Fulmars

Thank you all for your comments and stars for yesterday's blip. I was glad my efforts were worthwhile as the original was dull, flat and almost colourless before I set my GIMP to work on it.

This pair of fulmars (Fulmarus glacialis) were checking out a potential nest site at Dysart. There are usually just two or three pairs that regularly nest in this area.

The weather today was much warmer and pleasant to be out in. The birds also appreciated it as there was much birdsong in the woods. Many tits, dunnocks, wrens and robins flitting about.
