Jigsaws & Tennis

A dreich day here today. I tried to take a photo of raindrops in puddles, but it just drizzled slowly all day so no joy. So instead you got the jigsaw I finished this morning (the sea was a challenge) and I'm already a third of the way through the next one. The tennis was also on, I enjoyed the match which Kvitova won in straight sets over the 16 year old Canadian Leylah Fernandez who played extremely well, she just needs more experience at a senior level.

Day 202 / Full Day 194 of Lockdown / Day 20 of Rule of Six (for my record only)
UK deaths up 49 to 42,317 (revised basis), with a 12,872 rise in new daily cases, and 2,428 patients in hospital. Technical issues with the dashboard for England for 7 days from 24/9 means that some figures from that time will be added over the next few days. There have often been technical issues with this data which is just not acceptable given the key decisions taken off the back of it - get a grip! Global cases to date pass 35m, up 1m in 3 days. Daily cases in France up 16,972 today. President Trump was transferred to hospital last night as a precautionary measure, but walked to the helicopter. There's confusion about his medical status and timeline from briefings given, but mostly the reports are positive and the President is tweeting as usual again.
