Edvard Munchs summer paradise

Early morning stroll to the painter Munchs house in Hvitsten, close to where I live.

He owned the white house, yellow house,  the beach and 10 acre of property. He stayed here just in the summer fra 1910 - 1944 since it it was to cold for him in the winter. He painted (extra), grew his favourite veggie, asparges and invited other famous Norwegian painters to stay here for long periodes.

The mist made the fiord beautiful grey and serene (extras).
