Risk Assessment

Wonder if the little fly knew how dangerous his perch was to humans.
How many times are we in life threatening danger without realising it and just through fate or grace, the luck if the draw or even predetermination were we able to move on unscathed, without ever knowing how close to disaster we were.

We did a walk around the block with D. R was in the church yard mowing the grass when we went past and asked whether we would like to go up the church tower. C and D went up (photo in the extra). I went up a few steps and then realised that I won't be able to get down again - going up is never a problem, but I have fobia of coming back down - and turned around to take photos in the church. Going down the few steps I did scale was difficult enough to confirm that it was the correct decision.

I just have to say the tower was built in the 15th century, the steps were uneven ad broken, about 15" wide and spiral, which meant that the depth was from 8" to nothing within the 15" width. And it was dark.

We found 29 differnt kinds of mushrooms on our 2 mile walk.

Weather was partly coudy and pleasant.

Meatballs and pasta for tea.
