Charlecote Park

We went to Charlecote Park, the National Trust property near Wellesbourne, this afternoon.   We had a good walk round and saw the deer.  The male bucks seem to have gathered their harems and selected separate bits of the park to settle with them.  One buck was making a lot of noise chasing off some young upstart males.  This old man either hadn't made the grade with the females, or was just too tired to be bothered.  He was resting in the sun on his own.

We had a drink in the courtyard by the Wood Yard cafe.  There are plenty of outside tables, some under cover.
