Michaelmas Daisy (Aster amellus)

As usual on a Thursday I was wandering round Kanyl's garden wondering what to blip.  Among other things these Michaelmas Daisies caught my eye.  Whenever I see Michaelmas Daisies I think of a song the girls used to sing when they were trying to pretend they couldn't hear us.  You have probably guessed it.......    "Michaelmas Daisies purple in the border".

A native of mountains through Europe through the Caucasus, Siberia and into Central Asia.
