Family day....

.....surrounded in sea fog our picnic in the bay was refreshing, certainly didn't dampen our spirits.

Afterwards we ambled through the beach settlement admiring baches surrounded by beach flowers while listening to bird song mingling with the waves, so peaceful. Pohutukawa buds are ripening, New Zealands Christmas tree will soon be smothered with bright red flowers.

A great family day out, Pup pup included :)
