Deep water

After the rain over the past few days, water levels are getting pretty high. When Deb and I walked round Buttermere today, I was surprised to see how far in the water the birch was.

Rained off and on round the Lake, hailed a bit, but we were lucky enough to see two red squirrels in the woods on the west shore, though I can't post the photo I got, which was a tree with a blurred tail disappearing round the back of it!
