Little Grebe

It's very rarely that a Little Grebe commonly called a Dabchick ever comes within range of my camera. 

The little birds keep away from the edges of the loch but today when there weren't too many people about one little one surfaced from one of his many dives just a bit closer to the point were I was standing getting me feet a bit wet.
