River walk

Scotland trip day 13

Today we headed out to the Linn of Tummel (pool of tumbling streams)  one of our favourite walks. Parking in the car park we took the steps down to the river and walked under the bridge where normally you can see adrenaline fuelled bungee jumpers, taking the plunge from a specially built pod.

We carry on along a leafy path and drop down to the river, where the doggies have a good run around in the shallow waters,

The river bank is strewn with fallen trees, a great breeding ground for fungi, I spotted photographed 5 or 6 different sorts (my fungi fix for today). We walked for a couple of miles in glorious sunshine and only met a few other dog walkers.

On our return we headed to Queens view where we thought we might get a coffee and a piece of cake at the tea rooms.( no luck).

My blip today is a view of the river taken from the Garry bridge and my extra was taken at Queens view. I spared you all from my dozens of fungi shots.

Two very tired Doggies tonight.
