I got a thirty minute lie in this morning and made it work with minutes to spare (buses run to a different timetable on weekends). I'm on a long shift today, so will be home late, due to the buses from Redhill. I was looking forwards go today's shift as I don't like sitting about too much.
The weather's been dry but misty in the mornings and not too cold (for me, at least). The bus I take runs through a small village near the East Surrey Hospital, and I just had to take this picture. It seems to silent, the man alone with his dog, but at the same special, showing the bond of man and animal. It made me think of the meaning of today, Remembrance Sunday. 75 years since the end of World War Two. I was gonna get a poppy and wear it, but couldn't find one in time. Then I remembered that I have one on my arm (see the extra picture). It's my way of remembering the sacrifice.
