A misty day

I went out early yesterday morning to capture a misty blip. It was not cold and the trip around the block took only 20 minutes, as l was about to round the corner and go back inside l looked up at a slight brightness in the sky - the sun - and here it is.
The day improved, we spent it on the allotment, tidying up for winter, we picked the few remaining ripe figs and composted the rest, l used the big strimmer to tidy edges and we covered the newly dug ground with semi permeable covering to deter weeds. Our broadbeans for next spring are up and so are the garlic, they can take care of themselves. All that is left to do is a big bonfire of rubbish at some stage. God what an exciting life we lead these days (excuse the blasphemy).
