Poor navigation - miles from pots of gold

We thought we’d go up the valley for a walk as our electricity was to be off from 9am till 1pm.

We headed north on the track to Kidlandlee the took a steep diagonal track back south to Alwinton. It was only 4 miles but rough and steep. The sun came and went between blasts of rain. The Gurkhas are on exercise at the Otterburn range so the big bangs were booming.

No peace when we got home either - a throbbing generator has been put up right outside our house for the two weeks while they do the repair work needed before they connect us back to the grid.

England has the most Covid cases per 100000 in the world.
