Sayings no 2

We had such fun with depicting Dutch sayings that the assignment for the weekend is still the same. Jack was coming round with his parents this afternoon and I thought of a couple of sayings regarding babies.’ Een wolk van een baby ‘  translates literally into ‘ a cloud of a baby’ , it means a beautiful baby. And then there’s another saying:’ hij groeit als kool’ = he grows like cabbage, meaning he grows really well and fast. So here are two sayings for the price of one :-)
