Abandoned Well

Found this abandoned well on my walk today. There are thousands of these across Italy. I threw a stone down this one and counted to five before I heard it hit the water. I tried to take a photo of the inside by pushing the camera through a small hole in the brickwork and setting it to ten second delay. Didn't get anything worth having and the thought of dropping the thing made me give up.
