Autumn .....

...... the season of mist rain & mellow fruitfulness!

I think these images summed up our walk today!

We set off in sunshine .... had walked a short distance when the rain started .... we sheltered under the trees & watched this lovely rainbow slowly appear while the rain passed & the sun shone!

The sun continued to shine for most of the rest of our walk ...... just starting to disappear behind more dark clouds as we walked the last bit home!

Not bad timing at all!
