Robin (Erithacus rubecula)

I don't think I have ever blipped a Robin before, if I have it was a long time ago.  At the start of the day I had decided I wanted to do a bird shot.  The fact it was pouring down didn't make me hopeful.  Then I spotted a Robin sitting back in the Osmanthus delavayi.   I have never known its common name but according to the RHS the common name is Delavay Osmanthus, what a surprise.

The Robin looks as fed up with the weather as I am.  At least it had found a nicely sheltered spot only a couple of metres from the feeding station.
