Lockdown 2.16 - A Good Start

This was my very first picture today! I almost missed the sunrise as I went back to bed after getting up at 430! I didn’t sleep, however, and so went out for my morning walk. There was a light frost and it looked like it was going to be a beautiful day, but in fact the rain moved in and it was wet most of the day. I had to cancel my picnic walk with a friend - the one already postponed from Wednesday.

It was a rather blah day for various reasons. I never quite got into gear. I did make a delicious soup, however! In my brand new soup maker. Perhaps the subject of a blip on another day.

I made it for another short walk at dusk, just around the village, in light rain. It felt good, though. Pizza for dinner and an episode of The Crown.
