Above the fog

I wasn't too unhappy about the heavy fog today. It meant I could get things done at home without thinking "oh, I should be out there in the sun". Anyhow, in the morning I sneaked a look at some webcams and saw the sun... So after lunch, I drove a bit up the hill and - boom - I was out of the fog. 

I walked up to a viewpoint over the lake - no lake this time, but a sea of fog. 

So utterly beautiful, it made my heart sing. I am not good at meditation, but I just sat there and stared in the fog clouds swirling underneath, watching the clouds and waves moving, the sun in my face. I wish I had my tripod with me to take a timelapse.
