DAMN HOT EH....

... well, only a couple of days away from our "official" start to summer and we are in for a run of heat over the next few days.

Today got to 37 degC here and as I called by the Lagoon the ducks were making the most of the dappled shade under the trees.

This Pacific Black Duck watched my every move as it quietly cruised past.

A White Faced Heron also spotted but took off across the other side and did some "puffing"!

Then spotted an Australian Wood duck just lazing around in the shade here.

Enjoy and have a look in LARGE and sometimes heat and horse light can provide an interesting effect in this sort of environment.
